Fine China

With how often the cats break dishes in our house we had gone to plastic a while ago. I figured with all of the other broken dishes that I have reported recently that I should add the two that first happened months ago. This is the cup that got stepped on, I believe, and the plate that got burned. I know it sounds like I break a lot of dishes but considering all of the dishes that get washed in our house this really isn't a bad ratio! However, hopefully I won't have anymore to report for a very long time!

Negative Gas Bill

Working through our bills last month we discovered that we had a credit on our gas bill. Now I am not entirely sure where this credit came from but I will NEVER complain when I don't have to pay a bill and felt that it was a blessing from the Lord. Again this month bill time came around and I discovered that we again have a negative gas bill. I think they are just deducting each month from the credit but the credit was worth like 3-4 months of our gas bills. So I think I can look forward to a few more months of negative gas bills. I don't know what we did to deserve that blessing but I am hoping it will happen with some of our other bills!

Running Week 4

Technically I haven't quite finished this week because I have a run to do tonight or tomorrow morning but I feel I should write about it now. Day 1 this week left me throwing up and I took that to be a good sign. I must be working hard right? Day 2 left we discouraged because I ran after school on a different route and it was FULL of hills. I wasn't quite ready to tackle those hills just yet. However, I am determined to end on a postive note and this last run is going to be awesome! And, I am not going to look at next weeks run because I don't want to psyche myself out!

Eating Healthy

One of the other biproducts of my new fascination with running is the desire to want to eat healthier. So I am asking for any healthy recipes that you might eat in your home. I know that some nutritionists recommend more proteins and less carbs while others recommend a 3-1 ratio of carbs to proteins after working out. I really just want to feel better, lose weight, follow the Word of Wisdom, and be healthy. The rest doesn't matter to me. I want it to be low fat, low calorie but still taste good. Otherwise, I know I won't eat it. Oh, and another desired trait is the ability to freeze it. With school being back in session I don't have a lot of time to cook but if it was pre-made then I could grab and go. I really appreciate any and all recipes taht anyone is willing to share. Thanks!

Celebratory Dinner

So celebrate Marc's newest progress we had a celebratory dinner. It was really nice to hang out with Marc and home, relax, watch a movie, and enjoy life. I am so proud of Marc and all of his hard work. I hope it pays off for him soon! He definitley deserves it!!!

Not our healthiest meal but celebratory meals can't always be healthy!

Background Check

The background check has finally come. It was divine intervention that we found it in time but thankfully we were listening to the Spirit and everything happened smoothly. Now we wait again. I really admire that they don't waste everyone's time in filling out the background check, like other departments, but instead only require it of those that are actually moving on. So from here we have the polygraph and the medical examination. We are getting close and we are getting hopeful. I know that what is meant to be will be but I really hope that this is meant to be!!!!
